The Philippine Center for Economic Development (PCED), in partnership with the UP School of Economics (UPSE), presents the UPSE-PCED Technical Training Series: STATA I (Introduction to Stata).

The training will cover the Stata interface, coding syntax, do-files, database management, graphs, and tables.

Schedule: October 10, 17, and 24, 2026 (Saturdays), 9:00 AM–12:00 NN
Venue: Riingen Lecture Room (RM125), UP School of Economics, Encarnacion Hall
Trainer: Christia Lynette Piduca, Data Analyst, RELX Reed Elsevier

This is an onsite training, and participants are expected to attend all sessions. Priority will be given to new econometrics students (e.g., Econ 131) and new graduate students, with other students accommodated depending on available slots.

Participants are required to bring their own laptops and observe prescribed health protocols for face-to-face activities.
