The UP School of Economics (UPSE), in collaboration with the Philippine Center for Economic Development (PCED), is offering a training program titled “Introduction to Mathematica for Economists.” This initiative is designed to equip students, faculty, and researchers with advanced technical skills relevant to the latest tools and methodologies in economic analysis.
This comprehensive program introduces participants to Mathematica, a powerful computational software used for symbolic and numerical computation, data analysis, and visualization. The course will be conducted by Dr. Rolando A. Danao, a distinguished Professor Emeritus at the UP School of Economics, who will provide expert guidance on the fundamental principles and practical applications of the software within an economic context.
