The University of the Philippines School of Economics (UPSE), in partnership with the Philippine Center for Economic Development (PCED), welcomed participants from the Bangsamoro Transition Authority – Policy Research and Legal Services (BTA-PRLS) for a two-day training titled “Understanding Poverty and Labor Force Dynamics: An Introductory Analytics Course.”
The training aimed to enhance the participants’ understanding of poverty measurement and labor market trends through data analysis and evidence-based research. It provided foundational knowledge and practical tools to support policy formulation and program development within the Bangsamoro region.
The training was facilitated by Dr. Karl Jandoc, PCED Research Director and Professor at UPSE.
