The Impact Evaluation Training 2026 officially commenced today at the University of the Philippines School of Economics (UPSE) and will run from June 22 to July 17, 2026.
Jointly organized by the Philippine Center for Economic Development (PCED) and UPSE, the four-week intensive training brings together selected participants from 11 State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) and 11 National Government Agencies (NGAs) nationwide, chosen from a pool of hundreds of applicants.
Day 1 opened with remarks and session facilitation led by Dr. Aleli Kraft, setting the tone for the program’s learning environment. This was followed by the start of Module 1, facilitated by Ms. Marife Lou L. Bacate, which introduced the foundational concepts and direction of the training.
The first day marked an engaging start to the four-week program, emphasizing collaboration, shared learning, and the importance of strengthening research capacity to improve policy and program evaluation.

- SDG 16 – Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions: strengthening evidence-based and accountable institutions
